Hawaiian Wedding Celebration with Carlo Biagi and Landmark Beads

Carlo Biagi Dancing Couple
Beads are amazing and have been used for thousands of years for their beauty, as decoration, symbols, to denote status and in this case a celebration! Today my husband and I celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and these symbolic beads will tell the story! A picture story with beads!

Carlo Biagi Conch Shell Bead
We chose to have a "Destination Wedding" where we flew to Hawaii and had a beautiful ceremony at Pukalani Falls in Waimanalo, which is on the windward side of the island. We were both barefoot and the ceremony began with the blowing of the conch shell by Reverand Howie. The Conch Shell is auspicious and is blown before a sacred event to drive away ill spirits and call in all that is divine.

After our private wedding ceremony, we continued our tropical honeymoon exploring the island of Oahu, and visiting all the sides of the island, including snorkeling in Hanauma Bay, a day at the North Shore, visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center and attending a Luau.

We returned home to Florida and then a couple of months later we had a reception party for family and friends at a neat Bed & Breakfast in Daytona Beach. Complete with island themed decor, Hawaiian Leis for all the guests, dancing and the most important thing of all - a fabulous and delicious Wedding Cake!!

I could probably find many more beads to tell this story, but don't want to clutter up this post and more :)

And that was our Hawaiian Wedding!!!
